Did you know you can now embed a podcast episode directly into a tweet or a Facebook post?
This makes it simple for your current audience, or new listeners, to hear your awesome content without having to leave Twitter or Facebook.
Now they can listen directly from the tweet itself or from the Facebook post instead of having to go iTunes or your website to listen. They will love you for it.
As you can see from the images above, there are Play buttons available for the user to easily listen to the episode.
Yes, you aren’t driving that traffic back to your website, but you are providing easier access for your audience which is much more important in the long run.
It’s super easy too. Check out my video below to see how you can quickly get this implemented. You’ll definitely see your metrics go up.
As a side note, this only works for podcasts that are hosted on Libsyn, SoundCloud, and a select few others. Check with your provider to determine if yours will work…or just test it out!
If you have any questions, let me know.

I’ll definitely be doing this once I get my podcast up and going!
Thanks for all you do! Love your podcast!

Thanks Steve! When are you hoping to launch?
Anna Godfrey says
Awesome! Thanks! This is very helpful. I didn’t think about just putting the episode straight on there. This is a lot more simple.

Thanks Anna! Definitely test it out though as some hosting services don’t support it. Libsyn and SoundCloud do so if you are with them you should be good.

Thanks Jeff, my podcast is hosted by BluBrry and for the life of me I can’t get this imbedding to work, any suggestions? Long link, short link, nothing works, I follow your video to a tee and it just creates a post where you can see my link in it but not embedded.

Hi Antoine. First off, I love your site and that logo is awesome! Now, onto your problem. You are probably having issues since your podcast is hosted on BluBrry directly. I use the BluBrry plugin but mine is hosted on Libsyn. I found out from Daniel J Lewis at the that the hosting provider media services are what actually enable the capability. So, not all hosting providers can do it. I’m guessing BluBrry doesn’t have that capability. I do know Libsyn and Soundcloud offer it. Let me know how it turns out!

Hey Jeff, thanks for the reply and the compliments! yeah I think the problem is that Blubrry doesn’t support this functionality. perhaps un the near future. As a fix I’m going to create youtube video versions of my podcasts and then I can link those as embedded files.
